The Aim of the Dissertation Thesis
Through the dissertation thesis (DT), the student demonstrates the ability and readiness for independent scientific and creative work in the field of research or development, as well as for solving theoretical and practical problems within the study field. The dissertation thesis should be characterized by a high level of analysis and synthesis of knowledge and by a sufficient overview of the existing professional literature. The results of the dissertation thesis must present originally authored, new findings in the given area.
Framework structure of the written work for the dissertation exam:
- Current state of the research problem at home and abroad
- Aim of the thesis
- Methodology and research methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Proposal for the application of findings for further development of science and practice
- Conclusion
- Resume (in case the thesis is written in a foreign language), which constitutes 10% of the total length of the thesis
- List of references
