Appreciation of cooperation with Ukraine

On March 19, 2019, at meeting of the Scientific Council and Academic Senate of a partner university in Ukraine: Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, prof. Elena Horská has been awarded the honorary title "doctor honoris causa" for her extraordinary personal contribution to the development of agrarian education, science and strengthening international cooperation in Eastern Europe.
The FEM delegation was consisting of doc. Natália Turčeková (Vice-dean for International Affairs and Public Relations), doc. Zuzana Kapsdorferová (Vice-dean for Science, Research and Doctoral Study) and doc. Patrik Rovný (Vice-dean for Technical and Personal Development). During the meeting with the management of the university and the faculty, negotiations were held on the possibility of studying Ukrainian students in Slovakia and on scientific and research cooperation. Rector, prof. Danylenko and dean of the partner faculty, prof. Paska, expressed their support for mutual cooperation.
Part of the business trip was also a visit to a partner university in Kiev: National University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where lectures, faculty presentation and working meetings with the deans of the faculties ( prof. Dibrov – Faculty of Economics, prof. Ostanchuk – Faculty of Agrarian Management, prof. Vadym Tkachuk – vice-rector, prof. Kovtun – MBA Director, representatives of MAZARS), parents and prospective students were held.
