Department of Marketing and Trade
About Department
The Department of Marketing was established on January 1st, 2007, as dividing of Department of Management and Marketing at two separate workplaces. But the beginning of marketing teaching at SUA was since 1991 year. The changes in society and the transition from centrally planned to a market economy resulted in that at the Department of Agriculture Processing (High School of Agriculture) began the teaching of Trade policy subject, the forerunners of modern marketing. The learning of marketing courses and research activities are focused on marketing and market research in the following years developed at the Department of Management, Department of Management and Marketing and later at the Department of Marketing. During this period of teaching, more than thousands students from all faculties at SUA gained the knowledge especially from marketing courses. Since June 1st, 2015 the name of our department was changed on Department of Marketing and Trade. Today, the Department of Marketing and Trade is important and recognized part of Faculty of Economics and Management, SUA. The share on this name changing is thanks by all former and current employees of the department.
