Bachelor study programme at Faculty of Economic and Management, SUA

Study programme International Business with Agrarian Commodities is intended for students excited about business and entrepreneurship. It gives you a unique opportunity to develop your knowledge in Economics, Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, International Trade and related areas. Besides theoretical knowledge we focus on teaching practical skills using case studies, group assignments, simulations and project work with the aim to prepare you not only for further studies but also for the job market. Upon entering our Bc. programme in International Business with Agrarian Commodities you will begin on a path of both enriching your life and enhancing your career prospects.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Applying for Bachelor Study Programme at FEM SUA in Nitra

Step 1     Find and choose a study programme in which you are interested in. For Bachelor study you can select International Business with Agrarian Commodities when you prefer to study in English. In case you can study in Slovak language, you can select any program offered by our faculty.
       
Step 2     Admission procedures
The necessary educational documents in relation to study at the Bachelor level:
       
Step 3    

Before submission of the Application Form

      1. Application form (with medical report, etc.) - http://www.uniag.sk/en/admission-requirements/
      2. CV – Europass
      3. Scan of passport
      4. Photo - 3x4 - two times
      5. Proof of payment of the fee for admission procedure (Handling fee)
      6. !!!!! Transcript records for subjects from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th academic year of the study at the secondary school and transcript records for subject from each academic year or from academic years based how long the study at the secondary school has taken (with blue stamp and original signature of director or deputy of director from the secondary school).
Deadline for submission of the Application Form and all documents is end of April each year.
 
Step 4     After State Leaving Examination – you have to add the following documents:
      1. Certificate of State Leaving Examination with Apostille
      2. Supplement to Certificate of State Leaving Examination with Apostille
      3. Transcript records of courses (subjects) from each academic year of study at the secondary school with only with original blue stamp and signature with teaching hours for:
         - each subject per 1 week
        - total number of teaching hours per 1 week for all subjects (sum)
        - total number of teaching weeks per 1 academic year
      4. Transcript records of courses (subjects) from each academic year of the study at the Elementary school with teaching hours for:
        - each subject per 1 week
        - total number of teaching hours per 1 week for all subjects (sum)
        - total number of teaching weeks per 1 academic year
Note:     All documents must be submitted for translation into Slovak language and verified by notary in Slovakia after arrival to Slovakia.
         
Step 5     Enrollment
Once you are admitted, your next step is to enroll. You will be officially informed and invited for enrollment which is usually organized on September. The academic year runs from September to July with holidays which broadly follow a Christian festival calendar.
